A Gamer's World

There is no end as there was never a beginning
They say its over but I say I'm winning
The game is just begun
Or is it already won?

I lose and I lose but who gets to choose
Will I ever be done will I ever be finished?
Will I ever be done will it ever be ended?
The score never changes
Though I seem to improve
Who is it who gets to choose?
Who wins and who has to lose.
I'm stuck in this room
This ever-changing room
Just staring around me
Observing my surroundings,
Hoping for something more
Something to adore
Or maybe just a door
A way out of this world?
An end to this game?
I continue to play in hopes I'll win someday

A word with such a diverse meaning
No one can attain
It would seem that truth is just an ideal
And none can truly tell it
For to truly tell the truth
In fact you couldn’t conceal
Not a lie nor a deception
Not a fable nor a ruse
To truly tell the truth in fact
One must be attuned
To all the secrets all the fibs
All the guiles all the falsity
No truth ever tells it all
No truth is truly true

My conscience is my guide
It takes me for a ride
Anywhere anytime

At the park or in the square

I see the sights and do what is right
For my conscience watches day and night
Consider this the truth I speak
To be a conscience for the weak

I remember what will be
And forget what has been
In the future is the past
But the past feels hidden
A haze in my head
Could it be that I was dead?

I can feel a pressure
It pulls me away
Away from my life
Away from this strife

When I once ran away
To look for the future
And did find the past
I searched for the presence
